How to get to Kelly Airpark

Or use the following directions:
From Colorado Springs
- Head north on I-25 to the Interquest Parkway exit, located abeam the US Air Force Academy. (You may even see some yellow gliders flying there).
- Interquest Parkway only heads east, and at the first traffic light, becomes state highway 83.
- Continue north on Hwy 83 until you see milepost 37, then watch for the Airpark sign and turn right on Gillian Ave just beyond.
- Skip down to the last 3 miles below. If you go past a school zone and elementary school, you've gone too far! Turn around.
From Denver
- Head south on I-25 toward Castle Rock.
- Just past C-470, take the Lincoln Ave exit and head east (left) until you reach Parker Rd which is also state highway 83.
- Turn south on Parker Rd and continue for about 20 miles until milepost 38.
- Watch for a school zone and Cherry Valley Elementary School on the left, then turn left on Gillian Ave.
The last 3 miles
- Head east on Gillian to the stop sign at Cherry Creek Rd.
- Turn right (south) on Cherry Creek and continue for about 3/4 mile to Steele Ave
- Turn left (east) on Steele and continue 2 miles to county Rd 5, located at the SW corner of Kelly Airpark.
- Turn left (north) on Rd 5, to the second right, which is David C Johnson Loop.
- The BFSS parking lot and clubhouse should now be visible about a 1/4 mile ahead.

The Black Forest Soaring Society operates on weekends and occasional weekdays. We are located at Kelly Airpark , a private residential airpark. The best way to contact us is by telephone or email. We have a voice mailbox that is checked frequently by our members. On weekends, someone may answer the telephone, but always be prepared to leave a detailed message so we can return your call as soon as possible.
